Ms. Chris Alvarez

Ms. Alvarez joined Christ the King Prep in March, 2015 as the Academic Registrar and Attendance Officer.

Ms. Melissa Honohan

Ms. Honohan is the Vice President and Jobs Recruiter for the Cristo Rey Work Study Program (CRWSP) for Christ the King Prep.  She joined CtK Prep in September, 2017.

Mr. Ejike Enworom

Mr. Enworom, who hails from Nigeria, joined Christ the King Prep in July 2016 as the Information Technology Coordinator. A graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology, he holds a BS in Computer Science and is certified as a Microsoft Systems Engineer/Administrator (MCSE/MCSA), A+, and Network+. Prior to coming to CtK Prep Mr. Enrowom was employed in retail, data management and information technology.

Fr. Gregory Gebbia, OFM

Fr. Gebbia, a Franciscan priest with the Order of Friars Minor, is the principal at Christ the King Prep. Prior to becoming principal, he served as Dean of Student Affairs at CtK.  Fr. Gebbia received his BA in History from Quincy University, Quincy, IL and his MDiv from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. In addition, he holds an MA in Theology from Fordham University in NY and an EdS, a post Master degree in educational leadership, from Seton Hall University.  Fr. Gebbia taught at Padua Franciscan High School in Parma, OH and at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, MA. He has also served as parochial vicar and director of liturgy at several parishes in the tri-state area. He has had ministerial experience in Mexico and Zimbabwe.

Ms. Stephanie MacDonald

Ms. MacDonald is the Assistant Business Manager.  She joined Christ the King Prep in August, 2011.

Mr. Terrence Kelleher

Mr. Kelleher is the Admissions Director at Christ the King Prep.


Ms. Blanca Pacheco

Ms. Pacheco, a member of the CRWSP team, joined Christ the King Prep in November, 2014.  She is the Relationship Manager for our Corporate Partners.


Ms. Lisa M. Papciak

Ms. Papciak joined the staff at Christ the King Prep in January, 2010, as Assistant Director of Development. She holds a BA in Interior Design from Kean University and was a design director for Macy’s Corporate Store Design in New York for more than fourteen years. After leaving the corporate world, Ms. Papciak worked at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church in Little Falls, NJ, as the staff liaison for fund raising and development for more than six years. In addition during that time, Ms. Papciak was the coordinator of faith formation for children in grades 1 – 8. She resides in Bloomfield with her husband Garry Fletcher and their dog Hudson.

Mr. Christopher Paterek

Mr. Paterek is the Business Manager at Christ the King Prep, joined the staff in July, 2011.


Ms. Brenda Pescoran

Ms. Pescoran, a staff member at Christ the King Prep since November, 2007, currently serves as the CRWSP Program Manager. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University in South Orange NJ and holds a BA in psychology and a minor in Social Work. Ms. Pescoran is an active alumni and hosts programs on educational, political, social, and cultural awareness.

Mr. Charles Syby

Mr. Syby is the Dean of Students. He joined Christ the King Prep in September, 2017 

Ms. Elizabeth Rosario

Ms. Rosario, a resident of Newark for the past 25 years, joined Christ the King Prep in August, 2008. In her role as administrative assistant, her responsibilities include assistance with the lunch program, transportation program, admissions, business, CRSWP, and development offices. Prior to joining CtK Prep, she worked for 16 years in customer service. Ms. Rosario is the mother of four sons.

Ms. Jacqueline Ross

Ms. Ross joined Christ the King Prep in July, 2011 as the Director of Development.


Fr. Robert J. Sandoz, OFM

Father Sandoz, a Franciscan with the Order of Friars Minor, serves as the President of Christ the King Prep. He holds a BA from the University of Saint Thomas, MA from Saint Louis University and MDiv from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, IL. Along with his experience in education Father Sandoz has been engaged in retreat ministry, parish ministry, urban ministry and various chaplaincy ministries. He has had ministerial experiences in Guatemala, Japan and Zimbabwe.
