Educate for Excellence

Christ the King Preparatory School provides access to a quality, Catholic, college-preparatory education to students from families of limited economic resources and educational options. Christ the King Prep’s college-ready goal is:

All students
will graduate from
high school and college.

With this goal as our highest aspiration, all students engage in coursework designed to prepare them for success in college.  Core subjects – reading, writing, science, mathematics, social studies, religious studies, world languages, and the arts – provide the foundation for our college preparatory education.  Our academic program also emphasizes thinking strategies, such as complex reasoning, and lifelong learning behaviors, such as accuracy, persistence with new tasks, and other skills necessary for success in both the classroom and the workplace, such as precision and accuracy, complex reasoning, persistence with new tasks, and teaming and collaboration.
