Ms. Jenny Campbell

Ms. Jenny Cambpell joined Christ the King Prep as Social Studies teacher in August, 2015.

Mrs. Dorothy Carola

Mrs. Carola graduated from Fordham University with a BA, having double-majored in Religious Studies and Psychology.  Her MA, also from Fordham University, is in Religious Education.  She began her ministerial career in the classroom, as a Religion teacher and then department chair at Paramus Catholic high school.  In the ensuing years, she has served in various parishes of the Archdiocese as Liturgy Coordinator, Music and Choir Director, RCIA Coordinator, and Director of Religious Education.  Her desire to return to the classroom, specifically at Christ the King Prep, has grown out of her experience of the JustFaith program, and from her experience as a volunteer tutor in other urban educational settings.  Mrs. Carola joined the faculty at Christ the King Prep in September 2010 and teaches Religious Studies.

Mr. Onaje Crawford

Mr. Onaje Crawford joined Christ the King Prep as an English and Social Studies teacher in August, 2015.

Mr. Edward Curtis

Mr. Curtis joined Christ the King Prep in September, 2014.  He teaches English.

 

Fr. Gregory Gebbia, OFM, MDiv, MA, EdS

Fr. Gebbia, a Franciscan priest with the Order of Friars Minor, is the Principal at Christ the King Prep. Prior to becoming principal, he served as Dean of Student Affairs at CtK.  He received his BA in History from Quincy University, Quincy, IL and his MDiv from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. In addition, he holds an MA in Theology from Fordham University in NY and an EdS, a post Master degree in educational leadersehip, from Seton Hall University. Fr. Gebbia taught at Padua Franciscan High School in Parma, OH and at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, MA. He has also served as parochial vicar and director of liturgy at several parishes in the tri-state area. He has had ministerial experience in Mexico and Zimbabwe.

Mr. Robert Kearns

Mr. Kearns, a life-long resident of North Arlington, taught Physical Education and Health for twelve years prior to joining the faculty at Christ the King Prep in September 2010.  He received a BA in Physical Education with a minor Health and Coaching from Felician College.  He is currently taking courses towards his master's degree at Saint Peter's College.  As the physical education instructor and Athletic Director, Mr. Kearns has helped to expand the athletic program at Christ the King.

 

Mr. Gregory Kornegay

Mr. Kornegay, an educator with five years of teaching experience, holds a BA in Economics from Rutgers University. A faculty member since September, 2009, he teaches Algebra I and Algebra II. Mr. Kornegay describes himself as “a compassionate and fun spirited educator who is dedicated to empowering inner city youth.” He sees Christ the King as “the perfect fit for me!”

Ms. Erica Mickens

Ms. Mickens joined Christ the King Prep in August, 2015.  She is the college guidance counselor.

Barbara A. Nagle, Esq.

Ms. Nagle graduated from Montclair State College (now university) with a BA in Music Education and certification to teach K-12.  Her initial teaching experience was in Martin Luther King Jr. school in Newark.  She subsequently graduated from Seton Hall Law School with a Juris Doctorate, served a one-year clerkship with Judges Coleman and Griffin.  Ms. Nagle practiced law at several New Jersey law firms, including Carella, Byrne, Bain and Gilfillan.  She reduced her law practice to return to teaching, this time at her alma mater, Montclair State University.  

For the past 25 years, Ms. Nagle has developed and taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses, particularly in the discipline of Conflict Resolution.  She authored a text book entitled Conflict and Its Resolution, now in its second edition.  In addition, she developed training materials and serves as a trainer of teachers at the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.  She has also traveled to Nepal, to teach in a girl’s peace camp, and Spain, to present at a conference

Ms. Nagle joined the faculty of Christ the King Prep in September 2010 to teach Conflict Resolution and now serves as the school Librarian

Ms. Grace Park

Ms. Park joined Christ the King Prep in September, 2013.  She teaches Math.

 

Ms. Vanessa Piper

Ms. Piper joined Christ the King Prep in September, 2013.  She serves as the Dean of Academics and teaches English.

Ms. Margaret Sanzo

Ms. Sanzo joined the faculty at Christ the King Prep in August, 2014.  She teaches Religious Studies.

Ms. Elizabeth Torres

Ms. Torres holds a BA from Seton Hall University.  Prior to joining the Christ the King Prep faculty in 2010, Ms. Torres taught nine years at St. Joseph's High School in West New York, NJ.  She teaches English at Christ the King and also assists with College Guidance.  She strives to create a comfortable and exciting learning environment for her students.  In her spare time, Ms. Torres is an avid fan of various types of music, exercise and sports.

Mr. Sami Wakim

Mr. Sami Wakim joined Christ the King Prep in November, 2014.  He teaches Chemistry.

 

Mr. Lamar Washington

Mr. Washington, an alumni of Christ the King Prep (2011), graduated from Montclair State University in May 2015. He holds a BA in Sociology.  Mr. Washington joined Christ the King Prep in August, 2015.  He teaches Academic Readiness and ACT Prep.
